I am a recent BA Costume Design and Construction graduate, with a keen focus on costume making as my specialty. Throughout my time at University, I have expanded my knowledge and skills within the design and making process, which developed my understanding of curating designs purposed for functionality and characterisation. Throughout the time building my process as a creative, I found that my skills and eagerness were stronger with making. Elements of interest particularly lay with embroidery, historically accuracy, and finishings done by hand to infiltrate character realisation and fit for purpose costumes.
